Nano drug delivery systems improve metastatic breast cancer therapy

چکیده

Abstract Despite continual progress in the technologies and regimens for cancer therapy, treatment outcome of fatal metastatic breast is far from satisfactory. Encouragingly, nanotechnology has emerged as a valuable tool to optimize drug delivery process therapy via preventing cargos degradation, improving tumor-targeting efficiency, enhancing therapeutic agents’ retention specific sites, controlling release. In last decade, several mechanisms suppressing tumor metastasis by functional nano systems (NDDSs) have been revealed guidance rational design anti-metastasis NDDSs summarized, which consist three aspects: optimization physiochemical properties, microenvironment remodeling, biomimetic strategies. A series medicinal biomaterials anti-metastatic constructed our team are introduced this review. It hoped that better strategies can be inspired applied clinic.
